Intrepid detectives Thrax and Nico are tasked with finding a stolen ring that has a curse on it.
The search takes them to the beautiful island of Aegina where their friend Fotini is studying to become a priestess.
Together with Fotini's slave girl, Gaia, they start hunting for clues, only to find themselves locking horns with the infamous pirates of `Poseidon who also want the ring.
Who will get to it first, and will Thrax and Nico survive their encounter with Chabridis, the sea monster that swallows anyone who sails too close to its island home?
